Raglan International Jazz and Blues Festival has been an Annual
Summer Event in Raglan since 2001 designed to project the best quality
of Jazz and Blues Artists Locally Nationally and Internationally.
The Festival in the first three year's has produced a high standard
of performance and a definite highlight having Brian Auger and the
Oblivion Express come out in 2002 from the USA. Brian an amazing performer
having worked with the like's of legend Guitarist Jimi Hendrix to
in more recent year's Monster Drummer Dennis Chamber' s and his group
CAB 2.

Brian with the many incarnation' s of The Oblivion Express over the
year' s Has had an opportunity to work with musician' s from such
super group' s as Santana and Average White Band. For more information

New Zealand Vocal Diva Caitlin Smith also played two amazing shows
at the Festival in 2002 with Her group The Fondue Set.

From working with the like's of our own Dame Kiri Te Kanawa to
other global jazz giant's International New Zealand Jazz Vocalist
Malcolm McNeill performed a show of brilliant Jazz Standards at
the Festival in 2002.
2003 saw the Festival featuring The Marcus Kaisserian jazz Trio
an International Acoustic Trio consisting Acoustic Bass Drums and
Piano Fresh back from a Successful tour of Japan and an Album in
production this Trio played a brilliant Show of original' s through
to renditions of the music of Jazz Great Mile' s Davis.
New Zealand' s Trumpet Queen Edwina Thorne with a Tribute Show to
Trumpet Great Chet Baker added to the stunning Line up in 2003.
The Raglan International Jazz and Blues Festival 2004 is coming
